1. Navigating the Legal Field
One thing that I have learned since graduation is that whether you are employed or not, navigating the legal field is a difficult task.
If you are privileged enough to be employed, figuring out how the workforce functions can be difficult. It can come with anxiety and high stress. Just know that this is a learning profession. Every mistake is a lesson to learn and grow. You don’t have to be perfect, you have to give it your best shot.
If you aren’t employed, attempting to enter the workforce can be incredibly frustrating. But, I think that what made the process easier for me was living my life. I made it a point to do the things that interested me besides my legal career. When you balance job applications with doing things that make you feel good, you will have an easier time during this chapter. Take it one day at a time and never-mind the chatter regarding your employment status. What is meant for you will be given to you. Your career timeline is all your own. It will happen.
